Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Insurance Agent/Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support while managing various office tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Licensed Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth interactions with the client, and within the office while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Duties

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting clients and handling inquiries.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems to efficiently manage incoming calls.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy in client records and documentation.
  • Assist with clerical duties as needed.
  • Client Support: Build and maintain client relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing policy support.
  • Support office management tasks, such as scheduling appointments.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance customer support services.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and team members.
  • Strong computer literacy with experience in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Assist clients with day-to-day requests, such as making a payment, making a change on their policies, completing requests, etc.
  • Previous experience with Applied EPIC management system is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated clerical experience with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive client interactions.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Flexibility to take on added responsibilities as needed.
